Rock engravings at Twyfelfontein
Over 40,000 Petroglyphs exist in Namibia. But here Rock engravings can be seen. The oldest are estimated to be up to
26,000 years old. Since 2007 they are an UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Here you can take a look at a bygone culture of the San. These engravings in the sandstones served as a map, blackboard,
religious purposes or even just to tell a tale. The most famous engraving is the Lion Man.
